mPath Securitys ATR ™ mPath Security

Sample a caller’s voice

Extract a set of characteristics to create a unique voiceprint

A measure of the vocal tract specific to each individual

Using the biometric technology a caller’s identity is verified based on the characteristics of his or her unique vocal patterns. This provides a convenient and extremely tight level of security for callers who access personal information over the telephone.

mPath Security can be used for computer login. Security systems can be implemented that will authenticate the unique mPath Security characteristics, and give access to buildings using just a telephone.

With ATR added interface, a person is identified he is who he is. This reduces John to register as Paul.

Using ASR caller’s voice is recognized and verified as an ID or account number, eliminating the need to remember and enter a password. Enhanced security can be implemented by adding a password.

Using automated speech recognition applications and speaker verification, companies can provide the tasks of caller verification and PIN reset without a customer service representative. This will help customer service representative to focus on more value-added activities.

How it Works:

Speaker verification occurs in 2 phases, enrollment and verification.

Enrollment: New callers are prompted to say their information. The information is verified and passwords is requested three times and verified.

During verification the caller’s speech print is compared with reference to speech print for that account. A resulting confidence score is compared against security thresholds to determine whether or not to grant access to the caller.
